Headunit placement

Anyone ever put their headunit somewhere other than the stock position? I randomly get these ideas to put my cd player somewhere else. But everywhere else just seems like it would be a hassle to put a cd in or mess with the radio.

I used to put the headunit in the glovebox, and just a empty spot where the stock radio was.

ditto... a past roommate of mine left the stock deck in, and threw the aftermarket in the glovebox/console in his bronco.
