Gotta love the audiophiles who buy stuff like this:

http://www.machinadynamica.com/

A jar of Rocks =

"A number of highly-specialized, proprietary techniques are used for preparation/assembly. Brilliant Pebbles acts as both a vibration "node damper" and EMI/RFI absorber via various atomic mechanisms in the crystal structures. "

A timex clock with a sticker on it:

"The sound will be considerably more musical and alive and there will be less distortion, more information and a very deep and coherent soundstage. Low frequencies will be articulate and dynamic, high frequencies exceptionally smooth, with great inner detail. In other words, More of Everything!.

One or more additional Clocks in the listening room - or in other rooms - will further improve the sound considerably!"

Here's my idea for a new audio tweek... How about a tin foil hat which the audiophile user wears to eliminates stray RFI and EMI waves from affecting the inner ear? Anyone want to invest in designing such device? Sounds more believable than rocks don't you think? :?

all of that is sad, the problem is that it's those bastards that piss away so much money that we could do better with. (that was a shitty sentance)

Anyway, I can believe it, I wrote my thesis on diamond as a cultural commodity. They're really expensive rocks that do nearly nothing (minus in tools where I love em).

You know, they should sell beer for audiophiles.

Catered to the non-tech types with disposable incomes that buys into that flooby-dust audio tweak mentality.

Some micro-brew foo-foo beer with a fancy label and bottle. Charge a ungodly amount for a six-pack.

It doesn't have to even be good beer, some shit beer with a fancy label would do....

"Your stereo will show all the subtle nuances. Imaging will be more clear, and separation between instruments will be revealed if you drink a six-pack of magic beer and listen."

"Drink a half-case, and your stereo will sound even better yet."

"After drinking, stack your bottles on top of your gear. This will bring about even more revealing sound from your stereo".

"After stacking all the empty bottles on your system, NEVER remove them. Even if they get stale and reek".

"The stale magic beer smell adds to the improvement of sound with your system. Removing them will ruin the effect, and all will be lost."

"Urinating the consumed magic beer onto your stereo will bring even more better revealing sound. Please unplug your gear before pissing all over it".

"Diamonds are forever."

They should say what they really mean.

"Diamonds, That'll shut her up"
