Both the Extremis LCR and Extremis 2641 use identical drivers but have obvious differences in the crossover design. Dan can you share the reasons behind these design differences and the overall impact they have?

It's been a long time so I'm sure there are some errors here:
Both tweeters look like they are using a 3rd order hp filter. On the 2641 kit you have a resistor in series with the parallel inductor and not in series with the second series capacitor. All resistors and capacitors in one design from the other design by a factor of ~2, but the inductance stays the same.

The midrange appears to use both a 2nd order hp and lp filter. But the 2641 hp filter has an additional series resistor with the inductor and the LCR doesn't. The values are closer to one another but still different.

The woofer has a series resistor with the capacitor while the LCR doesn't. Again the values differ by a factor of ~2.

Based on my desire to use in-walls for my living room and a good bit of space, should I use the 2641s or LCRs for the front 3 speakers? Could the 2641 drivers be moved around for the horizontal placement above the tv? Would this crossover be easy to modify to remove the baffle step compensation? Do I even have the wording right?

Also pay attention to the the fact that Adire uses a resistor symbol with a value in series with thier inductors on thier schematics to represent the series resistance (DCR) of the inductor because that value is incorporated into the crossover design, you have to stick with it (mostly the wire gauge) in order to have the filter behave as it was designed.
