Budget Efficient Bookshelfs

I'm getting the office set up at the new place now and would like to get some budget bookshelfs speakers put together. I have an old 50x2 studio amp I was hoping to use to power them with, and I know it's pretty weak, so I'm hoping I can build the enclosures to maximize efficientcy.

This just needs to sound decent for background music and occasional TV watching.

Ideas?
