i have noticed you guys dont have a section for like basic electronics or even car video and im wonderiing if i have a question of that sort where should i post it.. for instance i just made variable power supply and i want to know where i could discuss it.

well idk if this applies to home audio or what i guess it could fall under an electronics section if there is one in the future but anyways.
i made an adjustable power supply
it is used to run cooling fans which i will later use to cool my plate amp
i used the first diagram on page 7 for my base http://cache.national.com/ds/LM/LM150.pdf
i also added in a switch on the main 120VAC line and a light. instead of the variable capacitor i used a potentiometer and the results turned out well.

i can also use it to test decks and other 12 volt devices

i will post some pics later

i want to hear some feedback on what youll think
i know its basic but im just getting into real electrical work
