et up as far as the platter goes. Single belt driven but I think that the motor is shot. So I need to find on of those. The Tonearm was messed up too so I will need a new tone arm. And it is missing the Top Glass piece. WE had two of the turntables, the one i have is less complete. The other one is complete and the motor works so I got the shit end of the stick. Well if anyone knows anything at all about the tables and possible replacement parts, please let me know. Thanks.

So did you ever get the ol' "Clockwork Orange" turntable going yet, Todd?

I gave some more TLC to my 50 year Musicmaster idler drive, with Velvet Touch flintstone tonearm. Sounds good so far....records are kewl..........

Wow, first time on the Force in a while. No It's still sitting in the acquired condition. I almost forgot all about it until I saw this post. This probably needs to go on hold for a while. Budget is down because of less work and more school.

It needs a new motor for sure, and needs to have either a new tonearm installed, or modify the existing unit to fit a new one. I would like to keep it as original as possible, but I just don't know how good the factory tone arms are. And I don't want to modify it if it is going to significantly lose value because of it. I'll probably end up getting it working within the next year because it is such a cool looking piece, but like I said, until I know a little bit more about this, and I have more money, It will probably sit.

I visited one site dedicated to vinyl records and turntables and got a little bit of into however. How mushj more awesome if it was the same model from Clockwork Orange! :)

Oh and by the way Mike, that looks like a nice table too. I really need to get my turntable into a more suitable enviroment so I can listen to more records. As of now my turntable is in our main living room and that's mostly used for me and the room mates to watch TV and play video games. Not a whole lot of time that its empty in there :(
