I am installing an RE8 in the jack well in an extended cab Tacoma. The well is right under the fold-down rear passanger seat. I pulled out the stock cover and trim-ring and then built a new one out of MDF. The woofer is countersunk flush and there is a ridge on the back of the plate to attach the fiberglass too as I am going to completely glass in and seal the area behind the plate. I attached the first layer of glass to the plate before I will install it making it much easier when I have to start working through the woofer hole. It looks great already and will be very stock looking when it is done.

sweetness, but I'm still having a hard time seeing how the sub (or glass for that matter is going to mount to the rest of the enclosure (or become the rest of the enclosure as it may be). Are they firing up underneath the seat? if not are you going to run some type of grill so you can hide em better, bc I know stealth is something you are going for.

later,

the red head,

and thanks for helping with the amp rack
