One thing I have to say is that Merlin has a set of nuts. At 2 ohms it seems to give that SX15 absolute hell.... I am wondering how long the sub will hang in there..... It is set up with a proper SSF, but you never know... 1000 watts is a lot for any sub, played at max volume for extended periods of time....

I have no idea of the numbers it will put up, but it is plently loud for a daily driver. If I had to guess I would say 140db..... It is really hard to judge SPL anyway, I could be totally wrong....
The box turned out good. I was kind of pissed about the carpet though, P/E had listed it as being 54" wide but it was actually 42" which caused me to have to put an extra seam where I normally would have not. You can't really see it, but it bugged me. The camera makes the seams stand out anyway, you can't really see them in the vehicle. They are just caused by the different grain direction of the fabric, there are no gaps and everything is cut and fit perfect, it is just almost impossible to hide the seams with this type of carpet. If I use the cheaper random pattern stuff, you can never find them when I am done.... But that stuff doesn't come in a color that matches the interior....

Sweet Install. I can barely notice the seams now you mention them. Perfectionist. Ha.

I do like those speak-on connectors or whatever the hell they call them. Nice, tough and simple.

That Merlin hammers. It was one of the ones off of Ikesound.... Think it was less than $400...
