Hey guys,
Wanted to see if you guys thought the Recession kit was a good value buy..?
How would you rate it in comparison say on a 1 - 10 scale for overally quality?
Is the premium crossover upgrade worth it?
This will be for home and possibly auto use too. If the kits turn out to be good, I will know a few people who will buy them as well.
Thanks for all the feedback in advance.

Looks like a good deal. With parts like that, a crossover upgrade will help, but for a $60 kit, I would try it stock and see how it sounds....
Build a nice set of cabinets or order a set from PartsExpress...

Looks like a great deal there!
I'd try the stocks too. Not to point out the obvious, but the premium crossovers cost $20 more than the actual kit and does the same thing as the stocks, they just incorporate higher end components.

Thanks guys. To the average ear though, would you here a difference with the upgraded crossover?
Trying to determine the cost/benefit here. If they will make quite a difference, Ill spring for them.
Is there a better kit out there for the money right now that anyone knows of?

You might not notice a huge difference in the upgraded parts, if any. Alot of it has to do with how critically you listen to them.
If you are going 40 Mph down the road with the windows cracked, you aren't going to miss the upgraded crossovers...
