crossovers designed by wiggins...i don't think i have any pictures of the old cabinets....but there were wonky shaped....the metallic burgundy paint was cool...but...i was lacking stage height with my woofer being only like 12" off the floor....and the midrange being like....alot higher in the cabinet...so bottom end voices were staging really low...and after like 7 years...i was tired of it.

so.  auto cad + table saw + compass + protractor = new speakers






now....much more coherent stage...everything is up high.  still haven't watched a movie with them yet....but i probably will tomorrow...music is f'ing delightful...i'm in love again.



this is my center channel....and you can see the old tower next to it...i will probably finish the towers the same way as the center...they will sound gooder that way.

Nope, it has a strap on it so he can wear it on his head.  Think, headphones (barry bonds style).

geist has all the pics on his camera that we took during building, i'll yell at him today.....the only thing interesting inside is the crossovers...i forgot to bring polyfill and egg crate foam so i did that when i got home...

interesting is a good term  bulky ass things.

the peerless is good bang for the buck...i had it ported before...decided to leave it sealed this time...and i'm liking it better...though it did pump out the lows before...little more accuracy this time around...

av8 is pretty good...midrange is very open and clear...sometimes the upper midrange gets a wee bit harsh...around crossover point...i think dan said it gets naturally angry a little over 2k..
