Well this was a complete spur of the moment thing to do. The speakers are ordered and I have the design figured out. They will be going into BIB enclosures. I used the BIB calculator that I found online to determine the size and shape of the enclosures. Since I am only doing this just to mess around, I went with a low cost Dayton full Range 5".
http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=295-010I probably won't get a chance to build the enclosures until after the holiday season (seeing that I will be working saturdays now too), but I was wondering what a good material would be to use. I figured MDF was a good choice because of it's low cost. Would it be worth it for me to spend a little more money and buy some higher grade wood?
And another question I have is about stuffing the line. I know it is all experimental, but how much stuffing and where in the line would be a good starting point.
Any Comments or Constructive criticism would be greatly appreciate
